StrapoLEATHER – The Vintage 3.0 by

This time round I had the opportunity to try out the StrapoLEATHER by There are several styles and versions in the StrapoLEATHER line and the model I have here is the Vintage 3.0. Let’s take a look.

This strap is made from calf skin and lined with sheep skin underneath. The samples I have here are the 20mm models which taper to 18mm at the buckle. They measure 115mm at the long end and 75mm at the short end, excluding the buckle. Thickness is 3mm.

As the name implies, the Vintage 3.0 strap is meant to be used with vintage watches or vintage inspired watches. The leather material has a matte finishing that mimics the aged effect. I also like the fact that it does not have contrasting stitches that may ruin its vintage look.

The strap is soft and comfortable to wear and comes with a solid stainless steel buckle which is brush finished.

Grey and brown are my favourite colours when it comes to vintage style leather straps. Here, I have the Tortilla Brown and Seal Grey models of the StrapoLEATHER.

Below are pictures of the straps in my Hamilton Khaki Mechanical.

Final thoughts:
The strapoLEATHER Vintage 3.0 is a very suitable strap for vintage watches due to its vintage look. You won’t get the “old watch new strap” kind of awkward situation with this strap. It is not too thick and hence matches very well with vintage watches.

Apart from vintage watches, you can also use it with vintage inspired watches or any watches if you want a strap that is not too loud.
