This time round I tried out a thick leather strap with stitching from strapsco.com. I’ve got a 20mm in tan and a 22mm in brown. Let’s take a look.

This strap is 120mm at the long end and 80mm at the short end, excluding the buckle. It is 4mm thick and comes with a Panerai style stainless steel buckle. Both the 22mm and 20mm models I have are not tapered. They maintain the same width and thickness at the buckle end.

Both the tan and brown colours look really nice and work very well with the contrast stitching. The strap is made from genuine leather as indicated on it’s back. I also like the fact that the stitching on the back are done using a thinner thread that does not cause discomfort when worn on the wrist.

The back of strap is lined with a layer of black coloured leather for added moisture resistance. Lastly, it comes with quick release spring bars for easy installation and removal.

Final thoughts:
This strap is pretty soft despite being 4mm thick. It feels pretty comfortable on the wrist as a new strap and I expect it to get even better after the break in period. It goes very well with most large divers and other thick watches.

Overall, this thick leather strap by strapsco.com is very well made and is definitely worth its price of USD19.99.
