Photo Review of the Seiko Mechanical – SARB072

This case design was first introduced in the Spirit line and subsequently brought over to the Mechanical line. There are quite a number of variants under the Spirit line including some with Arabic hour markers.

Under the Mechanical line, it has even more variants including the RGB colour models as well as a pink gold and a black out variant.

Here’s a photo review of the pink gold variant – SARB072.

Photo review of Seiko 5 Sports – SNZH51

I first reviewed the SNZH57 in September 2010 and since then, the watch has been gaining popularity. Some people buy it to wear it as it is while others modify it by changing its dial. The SNZH57 seems to be the most popular although the other colour variants are very nice as well.

Besides the SNZH57, the white dial SNZH51 is another one from this series that I like.

Seiko 5 Sports – SNZJ05J

I saw the 2011 Seiko catalog for international models and was surprised to see the 4R movement being the main movement used in the automatic models including the Seiko 5. The 4R movement will come in several variations:

4R35 – date
4R36 – day and date
4R37 – 24hr sub dial at 11 or 12 o’clock position, date
4R38 – open heart at 9 o’clock position

There are some 7S based Seiko 5 models on the catalog but I suspect the movement will slowly be discontinued.

Before that happens, let me share with you yet another 7S36 Seiko 5 Sports model that many may not have seen before.

Photo Review: Seiko Superior SKZ273K

This time round, I would like to feature the above Seiko Superior which I felt deserved some attention from Seiko fans. I first saw this model in the market in February 2010. I believe it was released around that time.

Here’s a quick photo review and some notes by me.

Seiko 4R35 Mechanical – SARY005

I mentioned earlier that I am a fan of Roman dial watches and this here’s a nice one from Seiko after the SARB043. This model was released in January 2011 and is powered by the 4R35 movement that comes with hack and handwind features.

Below are some pictures and quick observations.

Seiko Superior – SKZ297J

I reviewed a couple of Seiko 5 models in my last few posts and some people commented that they prefer not to have the ‘5’ logo on the dial. So, this time round, I will post a 7S36 model that does not have the ‘5’ logo.

This is a fairly recent model that comes under the Superior line with model number starting with “SKZ”. Let’s take a look.

Pictures of Seiko 5 Sports – SNZJ67K

I had the opportunity to handle this stealth Seiko 5 recently and below are some photos that I would like to share. This particular model was designed with a stealth theme but it also comes in different dial colours like other Seiko 5 models.
