I first reviewed the SNZH57 in September 2010 and since then, the watch has been gaining popularity. Some people buy it to wear it as it is while others modify it by changing its dial. The SNZH57 seems to be the most popular although the other colour variants are very nice as well.
Besides the SNZH57, the white dial SNZH51 is another one from this series that I like.
Here’s a quick photo review of the watch. My previous review can be found at:

It is worth mentioning that the hour markers and hands have a greyish tone to help improve legibility on the white dial.

White dialed watches really highlight the face design and hand shape. For this model, I’m still quite partial to the SNZH57 as it is the closest you can get to the design fundamentals of the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. I love the black and gold combination of that model. The SNZH59 is also good looking and it’s all black “stealth” design gives it a more sporty character. The charcoal grey dial on that is superb. Thanks for sharing, Thomas.

Hi Jun,
Thanks for sharing your view. I think this model has a lot of nice colour variants. SNZH51, 53, 55, 57, 59 are all very nice.
Definitely my favourite Seiko 5 model in recent years.
Best regards,
Thomas

The white dialed one is very sharp. Problem is, I can’t buy it here in the states. I’ve seen the blue dial, gold accent, and the all gold one on Amazon and other online US retailers, but I have yet to come across the white one or the basic black dial w/SS.
I’m thinking now after seeing more pics of the white dialed version, that if I had to buy one, it would be the white one. I love the black bezel contrast on the pristine white dial. Superb looking!
Thanks Thomas for the pics

Hi Corey,
Perhaps they are out of stock in the States. Try ebay sellers.
Once you have one of these, you will be tempted to get a second one with a different dial colour.:)
Best regards,
Thomas
