This time round I had the opportunity to try out a new perforated silicone strap from vario.sg. This is a sporty and stylish strap that is very affordably priced.
Let’s take a look.
This strap is made with soft silicone material that is flexible and very comfortable to wear. It has perforation on its entire surface which is very nice looking and at the same time provides some form of ventilation for the wrist.
Besides the perforation, there is also contrasting stitches along its edge. The five samples I have here have red, blue, grey, white and yellow stitchings respectively.
The long end of the strap is 120mm long and the short end is around 80mm excluding buckle. The strap tapers 2mm from the lug end to the buckle end.
The strap has a uniform thickness of 4.5mm from the lug end to the tip and buckle end. It is fitted with a stainless steel buckle that is engraved with the vario brand name and comes with two movable keepers.

Final thoughts:
The strap is made for sports watches by virtue of its design and the waterproof silicone material. The perforation on this strap is different from the racing style perforated straps. It is fully perforated, which means the perforation not only serve as ventilation but also become the texture of the silicone material. Overall, I feel that this strap can be used on most sports watches including divers and racing theme watches.
