New Variant of the 2011 M-Force – EL03005Y

I am surprised to see this yellow dialed M-Force at Big Time today. I was told this is a new variant of the 2011 M-Force model. Other than a new dial colour, they have also blackened the bezel to make it look different from the original version.

Upon further examination, I realized there are several changes to the dial as well. Let’s take a look:

100 Years of Watchmaking Limited Edition Monster – SRP455K

Here are some photos of the “100 years of watchmaking” limited edition monster. It is a limited edition model but other than the standard six digit serial number on its caseback, there is no unique serial number in the usual “XXXX/YYYY” format that Seiko used to have for their limited edition watches.

At this point, it is not known how many pieces were made.

100 Years of Watchmaking Limited Edition Presage – SRP385J

Which Seiko watch is Seiko fans in Singapore buying these days? Answer is the SRP385J, a limited edition Presage model. This watch is powered by the 4R36 movement and comes with flat sapphire crystal. It’s dial will remind you of the 1913 Laurel, the first wrist watch made by Seiko.

Before I show you more pictures of the SRP385J, here’s a picture of the 1913 Laurel taken by me at the Seiko 130th Anniversary exhibition in Singapore.

Colour variants included black, blue and orange. In 2011, the luminous dial variant was launched. Four more variants were launched this year including this. (See last link at the bottom of this post for the other variants).

Here are some pictures of my EM75006W. Take note that the watch comes with metal bracelet instead of rubber strap as shown.

My Collection of GX-56 G-Shock Kings

The GX-56 “King G-Shock” is my favourite G-Shock model after the Frogman. I bought the GX-56-1B (above) a couple of months ago and like it very much. I added two more in the last few weeks. I’m not looking to collect them all but since certain variants are getting hard to find, I thought I’ll get them before they disappear completely.

Here are my new additions.
