SBDX005 – My first purchase at Antiwatchman.com

I am a regular visitor of Antiwatchman.com and after so many years of visiting the site, I finally bought something from them. The watch I purchased is the SBDX005 from the Year 2000 Historical Collection.

The purchase was made with the help of Seiyajapan.com as Antiwatchman does not ship out of Japan.

SBDX011 and 6159-7010

Martin from the Philippines requested me to post a comparison between the SBDX011 and the 6159-7010. This is what he wrote to me:

Read your post on the 6159-7010, lucky guy that you got this watch. Hope you can make a comparison between your two tunas SBDX011 and the 6159. By the way, can you tell me how much you pay for the 6159?(if you don’t mind) I am now saving for the SBDX011 and is also thinking of getting the 6159 instead of SBDX011.

Got myself a 6159-7010

The Tuna Can is really addictive. Barely one month after getting my first Tuna, the SBDX011, I went on and acquired a vintage 6159-7010.

Watch Handling: Seiko SBBN015 300m Professional Diver

Seiko released three prodessional divers recently. Two of them are rated 300m (SBBN015 and SBBN017) and one of them 1000m (SBDX011). I should be getting the SBDX011 soon and while waiting, I had the privilege to handle one of the new 300m divers, the SBBN015.
