Seiko X Nano Universe – SCVE027

Had the opportunity to handle this Seiko X Nano Universe limited edition Spirit model, SCVE027. This watch belongs to my friend, Jackson Ham (H2 Hub, Century Square) who is kind enough to lend it to me. Seiko has released several variants with different colour combinations. All of them are powered by the 4R35 (date only) movement and are limited to either 300 or 500 pieces.

This particular model is limited to 500 pieces and is characterized by its grey coloured dial and bezel. Here is a quick review.

Review of the Seiko SRP655K

I bought this SRP655K on 1st June 2015 and have worn it for three weekends. I also own the blue variant, SRP653K and overall, I am very please with both watches. They are the biggest 4R based divers in Seiko offerings so far. They made all other 4R and 7S divers “obsolete” to me.

Seiko Divers 50th Anniversary – SRP653K

Managed to pick up this special edition Seiko SRP653K, a commemorative watch for the 50th Anniversary of Seiko divers. The first Seiko diver, the 6217-8000 was released in 1965 and since then, Seiko has released many iconic divers based on the latest watchmaking technologies that were available through the years. Many of these divers are “world first” so to speak.

This special edition diver pays tribute to the shrouded divers, a design that is unique to Seiko. Here is a quick photo review.
