Here is a new Seiko 5 model that was introduced recently. This model is powered by the 4R36 movement and features a camouflage dial which is seldom seen on Seiko watches.
Here’s a quick look at this watch.
First, a mandatory dial shot showing the camouflage pattern as well as the standard Seiko 5 inscriptions under the 12 o’clock and above the 6 o’clock markers on the dial. You can also see the cyclops above the day/date window.
Like most Seiko watches, the lume on the hands and markers is pretty bright.
Here are the side profile shots. The crown is quite big probably due to the movement’s handwind feature.
The watch comes with a bezel that rotates in anti-clockwise direction.
The display back is a standard feature of the Seiko 5 series.
Likewise with the folding clasp with push button release and catch.
Here are a couple of random shots.
The list price of this watch in Singapore is SGD465.50 inclusive of 7% GST. (Note: Price mentioned is for info only. I am not a watch seller)
Here are two other variants I saw. There are definitely more variants waiting to be unveiled.
Diameter: 41.50mm excluding crown (46mm including crown)
Lug width: 22mm
Water resistant: 100m
