This time round I would like to share with you a very affordable entry level Orient – ER2D009D. This watch is really value for money because for a list price of less than 200 bucks (SGD), you get a nice looking 42mm watch with automatic movement and quick set date.

Here’s a quick look:

Dial:
This watch is probably a poor man’s version of the Citizen Eco-drive shown below. It has a very similar dial design particularly the 3, 6 and 9 hour markers and the inverted triangle at 12 o’clock.

Case:
Brushed finishing on top and polished finishing on both sides.

Caseback:
Solid screw in caseback.

Band:
Genuine leather strap with sign buckle.

Diameter: 42mm excluding crown (45mm including)
Thickness: 11.5mm
Lug width: 22mm
Water resistance: 50m
