Saw a couple of new Seiko and Orient models this week at Big Time.
Shown above is the Seiko X Cotton Club model, SDGC030. It is a Brightz model that is powered by the 6R21 movement and is limited to 500 pieces. The movement beats at 28,800bph and features a power reserve sub-dial as well as pointed day and date. It comes with sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. It is fitted with a crocodile band with folding buckle.

Saw the SBGW047 at Big Time recently. This watch was released last year in conjunction with Seiko’s 100 Years of Watchmaking celebration. It is a remake of the 44GS from 1967 using the modern 9S64 movement. Only 700 pieces were produced and I believe it is hard to find today.

Saw the new Seiko Spring Drive 600m tuna (SBDB009) at Big Time and took the opportunity to snap some pictures.
The SBDB009 is the latest high end diver by Seiko. A limited edition model with rose gold accent (SBDB008) was release last year as a commemorative model to celebrate 100 years of watchmaking by Seiko.

Saw two new variants of the Roman dial Bambino at Big Time recently. Shown above is the ER2400EW, a variant with stainless steel case, silver colour hour markers and blue hands.

Saw the Orient Star handwind models at Big Time recently. There aren’t many handwind watches from Japanese watch companies but fortunately Orient makes a number of them to satisfy fans of such watches. Besides this model, the other Orient handwind watches I can think of are:

In case you haven’t notice, Orient has released a new variant to its mechanical pocket watch line. The new variant features full Roman dial and comes with Sapphire crystal on both front and back.
