Watch News: Orient M-Force – 2013 Model

Orient has posted a new M-Force model on its website. This will be the third M-Force diver since they revived the M-Force name in 2011.

Here are the two variants of the new model.

WV0011DV

WV0021DV

I am more interested in the WV0021DV because of the yellow minute chapter ring. It provides a contrasting effect to the watch.

So far, I can see that the main difference between the new model and the prior models are:

– Titanium case
– No power reserve indicator

According to Orient’s website, the new model will have a case diameter of 49mm . The diameter of the 2011 model is 47.8mm and that of the 2012 model (aka The Beast) is 53mm. I expect the size of the new model to be somewhere between the 2011 and 2012 models.

Picture below is not to scale but you can see that they have the same crown except at different positions.

Here is a picture of my M-Force divers. I’m looking forward to adding the new model to my collection.

  1. Thanks for this post Thomas.
I like the one with the yellow minute chapter ring…thinking of adding that one to my watch collection too, but unlike you, this will be my first M Force watch. I’m more of a Monster and Sumo lover…TC:)

  4. Orient make very nice watches , when i was last visting Singapore , i visted Big Time on 483 Sims ave store . Daryl Chang was ever so helpfull & he spent quality time showing me all the Orient line up , even though i advised him am only looking & not buying .
Daryl continued to show me attention & offered me refreshments “cold iced water” , while we spoke about his fine Orient watches he had on display . Orient watches left me with a very good impression & Daryl of Big Time was exellent , i can only recommend anyone thinking of buying a Orient watch & lives in Singapore vist Big Time , Daryl of Big Time did mention he can take Orient watch orders & deliver to overseas customers .
