Saw the new Seiko SBDX013 at Big Time today and took the opportunity to take some pictures. Since the SBDX011 is in stock, I thought it would be interesting to take some side-by-side pictures of the two watches.
Here are the pictures.
The caseback of the watch says “SS + CERAMICS + TI”.
The SBDX013 has the new Prospex logo on its crown. However, I still prefer the crown on the SBDX011.
If you examine the shrouds, you will notice they are not exactly the same.
The SBDX013 is able to lay flat on the table while the SBDX011 is raised due to the strap.
Price difference is JPY50,000.
what is the cost difference and are there any advantages of the newer version over my watch? (sbdx001)

I think there’s not much difference except for:
– ceramic shroud
– softer strap

Hi great pictures. I thought the 011 also has a ceramic shroud? Thanks always a pleasure.
