Here is a new model in the Orient Classic Automatic series. This watch has two inner rotating bezels, a power reserve indicator and a date sub-dial and yet does not look busy. The colour scheme on this particular variant reminds me of the Orient Star WZ0031JC that was posted here some time back (link at the end of this post).

Here’s a quick look at the FA06003Y.

Dial
The dial is surrounded by two rotating bezels. The outermost bezel is the World Time bezel. This bezel can be set by turning the crown at the 4 o’clock position. It rotates in both direction.

Next is a 24 hour rotating bezel that provides a second time zone. This bezel rotates anti-clock as the time passes. You can set it by turning the clock at 3 o’clock position in clockwise direction when it is at first click position. Turning it in anticlockwise direction will set the date indicator.

The dial is off white in colour and is very legible as the hands and hour markers are coated black. The coating is similar to some of the Orient Star models including the WZ0031JC.

Case
The watch is fitted a flat Sapphire crystal and the case is polished from front to back.
