This time round I had the opportunity to try out the strapoMARINE by straposphere.com. This is the first time I tried out a strap like this and it quickly became another favourite of mine after the StrapoSAIL and StrapoBELT that I reviewed previously. I must say straposphere.com is really good at bring interesting stuff to the market.
The strapoMARINE is made from elastic nylon material which is 1mm thick. The strap is 255mm long excluding buckle and will fit most wrist sizes. It comes with a set of stainless steel hardware that is brushed finished.
Unlike the NATO strap which is installed with the spring bars already on the watch, the strapoMARINE strap requires you to remove the spring bars before installing. You need to position the strap correctly on the back of the watch and install the spring bars accordingly.
Below are some pictures that show how the strap is installed. Take note that the end with the latch should be at the 12 o’clock side of the watch. When wearing the strap, bring the end with the latch to the 6 o’clock side and hook it onto the keeper. You can move the keeper to adjust how loose or how tight you want to wear the strap.

Final thoughts:
1. The nylon material is soft and very comfortable to wear. I am able to adjust the strap to the exact tightness as desired.
2. For first time users, it may not be easy to get the metal latch to hook on to the keeper initially but you will get the hang of it after a while.
3. The black and olive green colour options are great. They match very well with most divers especially black dialed ones. They also match very well with any military gear you may have.

Are your 22mm really measuring up to 22mm ? I ordered one and it was only 20.5mm leaving an ugly gap.
