This is a collaboration between Seiko and Japanese film director and writer, Mr. Hirotsugu Kawasaki. There are three models in this series and they have generated quite a bit of interest here in Singapore, particularly the model shown above (SRP643K).
For those who didn’t get them, I am pleased to share with you some pictures of the watches, as well as the box and printed material.
The Kabuki series is characterized by the black and red colour theme.
This is a limited edition model but serial number does not show how many pieces were produced. It’s likely to be a limited production model.
The hang tags.
The outer box and a nice plastic inner box.
There is also a printed card in the box.
The card explains that the colour theme is based on the red makeup of a kabuki actor.
Two other models, SRP647K and SRP645K.
The Kabuki Seiko 5 models are distributed in Singapore by authorized Seiko distributor, Thong Sia Co. (S) Pte Ltd.

Yeoman's Watch Review 
I found and bought a SRP643K yesterday but for the life of me, I can’t seem to get the roman V in the day to appear as shown in your 1st picture. Is there a way to show it?

Pull out the crown to first click position and turn the crown in clockwise and counter clockwise to set the day and date.

That’s how it’s done on almost all watches but I don’t see the V sign on the day – only Mon to Sun and its Spanish counterpart. No roman V sign. I thought it would appear in some special combination such as the date 23 as shown in your picture but still no luck. This is a bit of a mystery.

There are only 2 language on the day wheel. Yours is English and Spanish. The one in my photo is English and Roman.
