Among the new Seiko 5 models released recently is the SRP605K shown above. There are several colour variants but this blue dialed model seems to be the nicest among them all. It has a matching blue bezel and the outline on the hands and hour marker are gold. A nice colour combination in my opinion.

Hey, Yeoman, greetings from evercold Russia. Big fan of skx007 here. Just wondering is there any chance for a new gen SKX with 4R36 movement? It seems seiko powering almost all of their new “5” and monsters with that movement.

finally snagged the blue one today. k2 uncle (down to earth guy) had some new variants of this model. gold case/black bezel/gold accents on dial and steel case/steel bezel/red accents on dial
btw, how come uncle don’t give out seikos for the cheaper models? bought 2 4r32 so far but both no box

K2 sells both distributor and parallel imported Seikos. The parallel imported ones do not come with box.

Hi yeoman, by any chance is there any marking of seiko branding logo or whatsoever on the bezel of this model?

I’m really wanting to get this, in blue. But I’ve noticed a rather careless ‘Quality Check’ in the blue model (SRP605). Namely, the inner dial markers(specially the one at ‘3’) are misaligned with the ‘Day/Date’ window or ‘Hour’ markers. Every one I’ve seen on eBay, or the stock photo at Jomashop (at 12!), or on Amazon… has some misalignment, sometimes ridiculously obvious. Here too, I see the outer markers under the crystal are off against the ‘Hour’ markers and Date window. But in the final black model (SRP599K), perfectly aligned, Seiko quality. Anyways, thank you for posting such amazing watches, and making sure we don’r missout.
