Photo Review: Orient Neo 70’s – UG1U004V

I had the opportunity to handle this Orient quartz watch from the Neo 70’s series. It is a retro style watch that is reminiscent of watches made in the 70’s.

Here’s a quick review.

Dial:
– large hour markers
– bright 70’s colour
– quartz symbol used by Orient in the 70’s
– separate day and date window

Case:
– cushion case design
– crown flushed with side of the case when pushed in
– curved crystal

Caseback:
– solid screw in caseback

Bracelet:
– thin 70’s style
– folding clasp with push button lock

Diameter: 39.5mm excluding crown
Lug width: 20mm
Thickness: 9.98mm
Water resistance: 50m

  2. love the 70’s look and the fact that it’s a sub 40mm size doesn’t hurt either. Always liked my dress pieces to be between 35-39mm, just a better size in dress cloths. Thanks Yeoman, another great job.

  3. This is nice! I do personally think, the re-issuance models are always the right step for the watchmaker to venture. Nicely done, at least for my eyes 🙂 Thanks for sharing
