This time round, I had the opportunity to look at a recent Orient model from a new product line, Stylish and Smart. This product line is targeted at young people just like what Seiko did with its now discontinued SUS (Simple & Strong) line many years ago.

This model that I’m looking at is Orient’s first entry in the Stylish and Smart line. It has the case of the classic dress watches but adds in modern design elements such as black plating, white hour hands and hour markers, as well as a blue glass for its display back. It is given the name DUO and has a ladies model to match each of the men’s model.

Dial:
Black dial with contrasting white hands and hour markers. The second hand is black and has the Orient double lion logo on its short end.

Case:
Classic dress watch case with black colour plating in matt finishing.

Crown:
Crown is signed with the double lion logo.

Caseback:
See through back with blue glass.

Bracelet:
Classic osyter style bracelet with folding clasp with push button lock.

Diameter: 38mm excluding crown
Lug width: 20mm
Thickness: 11.50mm
