Here are some cellphone shots of the 2014 Orient X STI, EL07003D. This model was launched just before the end of 2014. I saw the freight forwarder delivered cartons of this watch to Big Time that Saturday afternoon.
Unlike past STI models, this model does not have the usual carbon fibre dial but instead it has a very eye catching blue dial.
The EL07003D is based on the 2014 version of M-Force diver. I also notice that there is no STI model in 2013. As such, there isn’t a STI model based on the 2013 titanium M-Force diver.
A link to my review of the 2014 M-Force diver is provided at the end of this post. Meanwhile, here are my cellphone shots.
Here are some cellphone pictures of the 2012 Orient X STI model that I saw at Big Time.
This model is produced to commemorative the 40th ADAC Zurich 24-Hour Race (Nürburgring 24-Hour Race) which took place from 17th to 20th May 2012. The SUBARU WRX STI tS, equipped with ORIENT M-FORCE on the dashboard won the SP3T class for the second year in a row.
This time round, I had the opportunity to handle the Orient X Subaru BRZ GT300 2012 limited edition quartz chronograph. This is a commemorative watch for Orient’s sponsorship of the SUBARU BRZ GT300, STI’s entry in Japan’s SUPER GT series.
This watch is limited to 1000 pieces. Here are some pictures.
The Orient X STI 2011 M-Force limited edition watch is finally launched in Singapore. This is the commemorative watch for the 2011 Nürburgring 24-Hour Race in which the Orient X STI team emerged victorious in the SP3T class and came in 21st overall.
This watch uses the same watch case as last year’s M-Force diver which I had done a review on this blog. Here, I’ll post post a few photos of the new Orient X STI M-Force.
Orient sponsored Subaru Tecnica International Inc (STI) in the 2011 Nürburgring 24-hour race that took place in June 2011. This is the third consecutive year in which Orient collaborated with STI in this event. The 2011 Orient X STI commemorative watches will consist of a quartz chrono and a recently announced M-Force model.
Here, I will take a look at the quartz chronograph model, the first Orient X STI model that uses a quartz movement.
This time round, I had the opportunity to handle yet another Orient X STI limited edition watch. This model is the second limited edition for the 2010 Nürburgring 24-hour Race. On their website, this watch is referred to as “Orient X SRI 2010 Limited Edition II” but within the Orient network, it is called “Orient X STI Stage II”.
Orient continues its sponsorship of STI’s (Subaru Tecnica International) participation in the Nurburgring 24-hour race for a second year. The race was held on 15-16th May 2010 and a limited edition watch was announced by Orient prior to the event.
This watch is a collaboration between Orient and STI based on the experience gained from the previous year’s race and was actually worn by members of the STI team during the 2010 race.
