Received some catalog pictures of the new watches that Seiko and Orient will be releasing in the near future. I don’t have the exact release dates but they are really exciting watches and I look forward to them.
Shown above is the SBDX012. On the top right corner of the picture, I can see that it will be a commemorative watch for the 50th Anniversary of Seiko Divers. This model looks exactly like the SBDX001 except for the gold accents.
Another version of the Limited Edition Blue Monster has been released. This one is the same as the one I posted previously except it comes with metal bracelet instead of the blue rubber strap. This time round they used the “XXX/500” serial number format instead of the standard one found on regular Seiko’s. This model is limited to 500 pieces.
I was told by H2 Hub at Parkway Parade that it was delivered to them on 26th July 2013 and has a list price of SGD657. It was sold to a customer on the same day before I could take pictures. Fortunately, Mr. Azad in Malaysia has kindly allowed me to use his pictures.
Seiko celebrates 100 years of watchmaking this year with the release of several limited edition watches. Some of these watches have been released while others are still in pipeline. One of the watches that will be released in July will be a Grand Seiko that is based on the design of the vintage 44GS from 1967.
Orient has posted a new M-Force model on its website. This will be the third M-Force diver since they revived the M-Force name in 2011.
Here are the two variants of the new model.
